I have been a rock climber for over thirty-five years. During my climbing career, I have climbed El Capitan (in Yosemite National Park, California) six times--four times by first ascent (one of which was solo), and twice by existing routes.

I have also climbed extensively at numerous areas in Southern California and in the four-corners area of Utah.
