Overview --
This is the gripping story of my world-record-setting, 39-day ascent of
El Capitan in 1982. The spiritual parallels between this ascent and the
Christian life are simply amazing. As a secular program the motivational
metaphors are compelling. Tens of thousands of people across the country
have seen Wings of Steel.
The program is appropriate for settings ranging from church groups to school assemblies to prison groups. Presentation times depend upon the context and can range from forty-five minutes to two hours, including a Q-and-A period at the end. The slides are impressive, and the story is fascinating to young and old alike. You will be on the edge of your seat!
